Inhabited Silences sound installation, in collaboration with @lia_leciel The inhabited silences question travel as a state, what being in a landscape and digging into it means; and how the places we find ourselves in pervade body and consciousness. The installation invites to a journey across a collection of sounds, objects, words and maps brought back by an explorer of unknown territories. The installation is like a palimpsest which evolves with each place where it is shown. It plays with the arbitrary nature of those places, as an echo to the arbitrariness of our personal trajectories. Sound materials are sampled in the exhibition places or in the surrounding environment; as are the raw materials, plants or minerals. The cartographies are freely inspired by the topography of the places.   • Excerpt from my concert two weeks ago in the ruins of @abbaye_de_sorde This takes place at the end of the show, just a @korgofficial volca Keys and some @neunaberaudio Immerse reverb. Most of the concert was improvised but I had those two already prepared harmonies in stock, just in case, and the timing felt right.
