Demain, je réalise une petite intervention sur le design sonore associé à la gastronomie, au 104, à l’occasion du Cook Book Festival. Seront également présents le chef Maxime Dupiot et le designer culinaire Marc Bretillot. Ça se passera vers 13h aux écuries. • Tomorrow, I’ll make a presentation about sound design and food at Le Centquatre, for the Paris Cook Book Fair. Le livre virtuel est présenté à partir de mardi 2 février et jusqu’à la fin du mois à la médiathèque de la ville de La Riche, près de Tours. Sont également exposé une trentaine de photographies de Mathilde de l’Écotais • The virtual book will be shown at the La Riche multimedia library from the 2nd of february to the end of the month. About 30 photographs by Mathilde de l’Écotais will be shown too.

J’ai fini la semaine dernière une installation pour la photographe Mathilde de l’Écotais : il s’agit d’un livre virtuel dont on peut tourner les pages dans l’air, les médias étant projetés vers le sol. Un patch avec jitter sous Max/msp s’occupe de la diffusion tandis qu’une carte Arduino et deux télémètres IR permettent de tourner les pages. L’installation est toujours visible au Laboratoire, adresse ci-dessous. • I’ve just been finishing an installation for the photographer Mathilde de l’Écotais : it’s about changing the pages of a virtual book just by moving your hands in the air. The texts, videos and images are screened on the floor. A Max/msp jitter patch does the media handling while an Arduino board with two IR telemeters do the sensor part. The installation is still visible at ‘Le Laboratoire‘, adress down there.
